It's been a long time, and quite frankly I screwed up back in the day when I put it in by not completing it right, for which i am now suffering from blown speakers.
So Heres what i got.
PG Outlaw
PG ti5 elite component set.
PGti9 midbass
PG TI12D Elite.
ZPA .5
EQ230
PG Line driver and reciever.
ok, first the one of the 5 1/4s is blown, i dont get that as it was running off the PG crossover that came with the set and on the small side of the outlaw.
the 9s are, well iffy, one is blown for sure, and that is because of a few things. first it was running off the large side of the outlaw basically freeair(retarded) I didnt get time to make a decent baffle behind it in dorr, and never went back to fix it.
Im going to replace the 5 1/4 and preferable the nines if i can find em on Ebay.
The ZPA is borked, how i dunno, but i took it out and its been sitting in a box.
Dunno if ill get this fixed, depends on the cost i guess.
Anywa, my plane was to run the whole thing off the outlaw. the sub is obviously underpowered but has run fine, i dont crank it or anything. I do have a xmax 12 i could swap out that would be plenty for me.
What i WANT to do is run the system off the Outlaw only. the sub on the big side, the rest off the other. my issue is designing and finding the parts needed for a proper passive crossover for the 9"midbass drivers the component set should be fine( i stress should) using the component passive crossover block.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I need help with rebuilding my system.
