question on an rddp install

I have an rddp.. I have the a-link with an sdt . My question is on the hook up of the sdt. It's got the phone line wire and a green plug with two set screews one says gnd (ground). And another that says dim .. is the dim for the dimmer control ? What gets wired to the dim side of the plug .. any help would be great ..

i think you wire that to your dash lights so the display dims at night.

yes the dimmer should go to what is normally the orange wire behind the deck, shows 8-12v depending on how bright you have the lights set too.
