I just got a SD600.1 and I want to mount it under my seat it fits with a little room to spare but I have a question. Can I screw it down to the floor of the car ? I don't want it to ground out if I screw it to the car. The reason I ask is I all ways have mounted my amps to wood I never thought about putting it under the seat before until I saw this little amp.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Install ?
I honestly wouldn't know myself as I have only mounted my amps to wood amp racks. You could always buy some velcro strips with adhesive back. Stick the rough one to the amp and it will stick to the floor pretty darn good if you have a type of carpet that velcro will grab to. Shouldn't have any problems with it moving around.
Re: Install ?
I hope that if we are installing pg gear that we are above using velcro in an attempt to mount it.
There should be no issue with mounting it to the floor, just look underneath and make sure you are clear of fuel lines or other stuff that do not like to be poked.

what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.
Re: Install ?
I suggest you look for some stainless steel sheetmetal screws to mount it with.
Based on where in the world you are located, the portion of the screw sticking under the vehicle can rust off in as little as a year depending on conditions. Then your amp will end up loose.

Re: Install ?
Get either 1/8 or 1/4" wood and cut it out to be1"longer on all sides and slip that under the carpet then screw the amp to the wood. Wont go anywhere.

Thanks for the replys I thnk I like the last idea. I do have a thin sheet of wood so I will go that route. I got the 600.1 on the car with a 10Ti2 time and I am likeing it so far still have to adjust the amp.
