standard 140 amp alternator and Hawker sp1700 battery which was the biggest I could fit in the standard location, apart from that everything is stock and been fine, it's not an spl system so is fine and 2 of the amps are only powering front end, the 3rd is thermally limited to 300 watts through the Velodyne controller..kg1961 wrote:very very nice set up

Re: Let's see your stash
Hey Guys!
New to the forum, but have always been a big fan of PG! I am very happy to see that they seem to be back on track with the new gear. Question though; I know that AAMP brought it back to life & distributes it, but does anyone know who, or where it's designed & manufactured? I've heard nothng but good stuff about the new products, but would like a little more behind the scenes info before I get back nto bed with them. As for "MY STASH"; I was a die-hard PPI guy. Got sponsored by them when their awesome Powerclass stuff was designed. System was as such:
Source: Alpine CVA-1000 flip screen w/ Clarion VCP & Alpine CHA-S1214 changer
Mids/Highs: Phaze Audio/PPI Studio Drivers: System 4 front kick panels, System 4 rear side panels, 2 MW-64'smid-bass per door & pair of NT-1 tweets in the A-pillars
Subs: 4 - Precision Power PowerClass PRO Series 10's 4 ohm ea
Amp 1: Precision Power 15th Anniversary Limited Edition PC4100 (4x100) 2 ch's for front/rear @ 2ohm's 800 watts total
Amp 2: Precision Power 15th Anniversary Limited Edition PC2350 (2X350) running @ 4 ohm's mono 1600 watts total (custom made for more juice)
Processors: Precision Power PAR-245 parametric EQ & Precision Power FRX-322 electronic crossover
Wiring/Misc: All StreetWires by Esoteric Audio. 200 amp alternator, 2 - PowerStation 3's (6 - 1 farad caps), 2 dry-cell batteries, all wiring, fusing & distribution + an absolute TON of Dynamat!!
Security: Alpine SEA-8081
It was by far the best system I ever had & the install was absolutely SICK for it's time. Anyway, now I'm looking to begin again & am thinking of using either PG (especially the SD1300.5 or new ELITE amps) or the new V3 series JL products, so please give me your thoughts on this new stuff. I'd love to hear from anyone with the company & actual product users. Look forward to hearing from some of you soon! Thanks! Matt

Re: Let's see your stash
I thought the black magik was just another of their many 1-off's they did. What is the story behind it?

Re: Let's see your stash
I have recently started to collect again after selling my last truck with all my gear installed
This is what i have so far:

With the cable!

This is my 3rd Bass Cube and the only one with a remote!
And the meat of the system,

I probably wont install it all, but its not hurting anyone under the bed
Still looking for subs and components
