the cube will allow you to pick the freq to boost, not the same as a lpl at all...
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

Yeh, Basscube is a single band parametric eq that you set up to whatever your sub is tuned to,. Myself Ive found that I dont like them with ported boxes but they work wonderfully with sealed. That's my personal experience. A ton of people run em with ported boxes. Id try the cube in your setup. If it doesn't make difference then leave it in there for looks or take it out :-)

it was designed to run at optimum for ported setups, you use it to boost your sweet spot/tuning freq. of box.
It makes a big difference in my system, I have the LPL as well for overall volume. Lotta of the time I just leave it off unless i want to get really loud then i use it. it will make a difference in what you have. Are you even gonna get this in the car or sell it all off again and....
screw car audio, I'd rather go fast....errr, wait a minute.

Kinda funny... When he gets things installed, we should make a trek to his place and celebrate with him...
