Post by freshkryp69 »

Any heads up on the DSP's out by audison, jbl, mosconi, zapco any other high end dsp's?? yo guy have any reviews ? Im looking for a 4 way up front x-over, 31 band each channel, TA,phase, etc. memorys for settings a must. I tried the AC dqxs but need more adjustability.. what are you guys thought? im looking into no cost issue as long as it does everthing, like 8" midbass"6.5 midrange 2.5 upper mids, tweeters each door. maybe some small apillar 3/4 tweets up his running 20 watts or so, just to lift the stage a bit..

what are yall thoughts?

You might look into PA products out there if you are that serious about it
http://www.dbxpro.com/4800/index.php off the top of my head.
There are lots of them out there capable of controlling sound in a arena, car should be easy
Just another idea for you

Thanks for the heads up,ill check it out...Ive contemplated similar ones. I know the pros do it,Matt/jlp labs, (i think thats right name?) on DIYma does the serious mods on the JBL, but the mosconi is supposed to leavem all in the dust (for now),every one of the 8 output channel is totally adjustable 31 bands per channel, x-overs and all but around $1000+ all said and done for that 1?? Plus they are still working out the firmware bugs.. Rack mount is so easy to hide in my app! I just hope to find the right digital with balanced in's-out's, one that can be converted to 12v with a custom PWM 12v power supply.. The speaker works regal, harrys acura legend, Buldwaldas car the 240z, which they are all over the top cars and all have those processors. Hell PG badged 1 from behringer (?) Im aiming to be able to do this 4 channel frontend, and band pass x-over for control for EVERY channel with 24-48db xover points,31 band.phase shift. Its the only way it would work without daisy chaining zpx2's and eq's.

Here in a couple yrs, well have processors that REALLY do it all perfectly, and the days we spent tuning for hr's will take seconds, technology will take us there.
