Re: CUSTOM CRACKED RTE 66
hey thanks tom...
and heres why im kinda feelin' this amp project that was done at the behest of the costomer...as he instructed pretty much...my work, but his directive...
is that even with it broken up...it still 1) makes sense even if you were to just read the text on either of the two amps... the separated logo also works b/c pg did once use just the logo as seen on the 44 part...and i believe i recall just seeing the rca's being used independently also as well.
so it does work...now the only fuk up i just noticed...as you guys see is that up above i had different art work for the 44... look at the print outs i did for proofs... if had the text/lines like a m44 would have....and was supposed to be on the amp to follow suit with the m25.... so i just realized that and sry travis...but in the end i think/guess will be okay b/c otherwise i think it would have been too confusing there with all that and would confuse the user potentially...idk...sounds good though.

all you need to do is use those little rubber non-skid mats(the type with the little squares) as a mask and spray through it.
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

been hearing more and more about that lately. I guess all you need is the tank and the film/activator and its really easy to do.

Re: CUSTOM CRACKED RTE 66
nice work! if that only had black terminals that would really be the cherry on top!
I dig it! Really love the Zapco black on the M Series fins almost more then the anodized gold orignal color!

Looks great ! Glad to know someone here can do powdercoating ! I have some M amps that will be needing some love . Do you think you could come up with something (just sone decals) for a zx475ti and a zx600ti to make it look like a cracked 950ti ? Mine have some surface rust and i would like to polish them out . Just an idea

Re: CUSTOM CRACKED RTE 66
well... in fact... after further review... i decided to re-do...wasnt so so pleased with the crack being over to the left so much...and the finish ended up having a burned-ish yellow-ish color in the clear. so given those two reasons, i decided to run through the whole dealio once again (strip in acid, degrease, blast, prime, coat, artwork, and clear) so here we are now with just needing to clear coat...BUT i am like so so much more pleased with the crack over to the right more on the 25
have a look

Re: CUSTOM CRACKED m25 m44 (rt66)
what exactly were you thinking about? like color scheme and art wise.... oem fonts and stuff, or something different?
i can do, but can not place art on black or very dark color (sadly, i havent figured that one out yet) - however it is not screening...it is a digital transfer process in which it gets baked into the finish with a clear coat.
check my fb gallery page for khameleon koatings and you can check out many other past works (link in sig)
ill see if i cant get a call into you tomorrow at some point...but if i get distracted or forget- you are welcome to call just the same....800 516-2339
