MS Capacitor

Post by luigi66 »

Question.
I saw that all the capacitors on the small amplifiers phoenix gold ms range are from 2,200 uF 16V 105C, I saw that you use when you need to replace capacitors, 5600 uF 16V 105C.
Ask you all how come you do not meet the factory and instead using condensers with a capacity greater uF?

Cosmetic reasons. If you use 2,200uF caps, they are less than half the height of the original capacitors, so they don't look very good in the amplifier (when the amplifier is to be put on display).
Got "schooled" by member shawn k on May 10th, 2011...
No longer really "in tune" with the audio industry, and probably have not been for some time.
Hands down the forum's most ignorant member...
Don't even know what Ohm's law is...

I understand but I ask for greater capacitance of the capacitor 5600 uF 2200 uF vs not affect anything?
The original capacitors who produced them?
All my amps MS (MS 2125 - MS 275 - 2240 MPS - MPS 2500) there are the same from 2200 uF
