I am gettin' rid of my XS set up & putting my Reactor in the Subie. Just wondering if anyone knows why it doesn't have a serial on the lid in the little rectangular box as most do...? Is there a spot inside where I might find it?
Second question...
I've decided to powder coat the shroud of the MS1000TA a nice Lime Green , the amp is black but has quite a few nicks & dings in the paint. I'll keep the endplates original though. I think it will look pretty sweet when done...
But, while I have the boards out, should I consider recapping them? The stickers on them say "2006" so I figured they weren't too old...but wanted to ask. Thanks guys...

Most MSTA amps don't need new caps. Only the early TA models used the older junk caps (probably left over inventory).
