Now I am confused because another person is telling me a tbat2 is the only unit that will work with eq232.

why ? the tbat2 will give you the best result with the balanced cable.

In the mean while you could also use a pld1 so work with rca cables......

the eq232 accepts both balanced and rca inputs.....

The tbat1 would require a modified cable (round cable instead of RJ-45).

The tbat2 is a plug and play option.

If you have original TBA cable its very easy to modify it for use with the EQ232. If you need help let me know.
