I recently was given a bunch of car audio equipment by an old man who removed it from his truck that he has had parked in his garage for years. He claimed it worked fine the last time he turned on the cassette player...
Anyway do any of you know anything about any of this gear? It is causing me quite an annoyance trying to find out if it is worth installing in my other car. Or if I should just build some cabinets and have some additions to my home theater. Anyway, here it is:
1x Clarion a540 Amplifier (don't have a manual so I don't even know what the various pins are for) its outputs are labeled as 4x15W (seems kind of underpowered)
2x Cadence Ultradrive 4 ohm CW10504 "UltraWoofers"
2x JBL P-1000 5 ohm subwoofers
1x Pioneer TS-TRX800 4 ohm MARf9 tweeter
2x Premier TS-C503 Passive crossovers
1x Premier by Pioneer UD N1RS ODR Passive crossover

Re: Early 90's equipment
Pics of the Clarion amp. And let me know if you want to sell it. I have one already but a brother would be nice. The amp really isn't a powerhouse. It does about 17 x 4 in all honesty.
Sorry, I don't know much about the pioneers.

Re: Early 90's equipment
I do not really want to sell the Amp, I was planning on using it to power some little baby HK 6 inch subs. I just wish I could find out what each wire is for, the harness was covered in tape and after removing it I see what looks like two power wires, two ground wire, 4 speaker wire, a remote turn on lead and another random wire with an agu holder on it. Is there any chance you can help me out on thissmgreen20 wrote:Pics of the Clarion amp. And let me know if you want to sell it. I have one already but a brother would be nice.
