Re: Food for thought
the problem is the amp might make the heater overheat and go into protect.

I was thinking that in the future... We could heat our electric cars with water cooled amps... If you have to burn the power anyways, make mine class a on the mids and highs, class a/b on the subs, and give me 5kw of near instant on heat..... Hehehehe
Re: Food for thought
That's the best sounding heater in the world. Lol
But seriously, I always wondered why they didn't put a wind turbine on the roof of the Chevy Volt. Once it gets going it makes its own wind.

Being loud without good sound quality is pointless, but having good sound quality without being loud is also pointless.

Nice voltage inverter, you get the heat from both units.
Phoenix Gold,Don't Leave Home Without It !!!
Re: Food for thought
The reason I posted a picture of this is to remind myself of the importance of cooling. That electric heater dissipates 580W of power and its temp is 50C which is quite uncomfortable to touch. It is in a cool basement room with unobstructed airflow around it plus it has many times the cooling surface of an xs2500.
An xs2500 needs to dissipate roughly the same amount of heat when running full tilt all day long.
