Will this work?

Post by LowandLoud »

Just curious if there was any reason this cable would not work to adapt my Tba1 transmitter to my EQ230 with 232 guts

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/390429383257?ssP ... 1438.l2649

This is my transmitter

And my EQ

I am looking to purchase a Tbat set but in case that doesnt happen, i am just looking at other solutions.

Thanks guys

I would think that would have to work. Under discription there is a phone# to call for compatability. I would call first. By the way, nice score on the Boston tweets. I would use the correct oldschool proseries. I have 3 oldschool Boston pro kits and love them, there much better than the new pros. My fourth set was stolen. Chris.

I have the din cable, but if you look, my EQ has the RJ style input and the din picture. I know i can use RCA's but if i can eliminate a connection point, it can only help. There is a TSB from PG about installing the other plug on my cable but i am hesitant to cut an original cable.

If you're Tba1 set has the RJ style cable, and is white, PM me with a pic.

That is a tba2 set that you are looking for. After noticing the pic I'm wondering if some one switched the internals so they would have white.

I am not shore if a TBA-1 transmitter will work directly with the EQ-230? Phoenix Gold made a TBAt just for direct connection to the EQ-230 as the receiver. Chris.

Look in the buy and sell on the phorum right now. Under Alpine and Phoenix gear there is a TBAt-2 for sale, and this is exactly what you need to solve your problem. Chris.

I have already talked with him. He does have exactly what i need. He does not want to sell on this site and only put his stuff up here as a notice that they will be available on Ebay. Have not seen them come up though.

Also, I know my EQ is a mix and match. The case is a 230 but the internals are 232 so that is why the TBA1 will not work directly. I posted pics of the inputs for clarity.
