Hi
I'm looking at buying a xs4600 to run my system.
It will be running 2 channels stereo @ 2ohms, and the other 2 bridged @ 2ohms
I've had a look at the specs, and see its described as 2ohms stable when bridged, but it doesn't give any indication as to what power it will make...
it makes 300w(+ phoenix magic) @ 4 ohms bridged. So similar, or a bit more?
Any ideas? or even better, any one know of one that's been tested?
Thanks for any help

Re: xs4600 rms @ 2ohms bridged?
it wont make much more power at 2ohms. it just can't dissipate enough heat so they limited it.
if you are going to run it that way, i really suggest a cooling fan, and make sure it has its own 4awg power cable

Re: xs4600 rms @ 2ohms bridged?
i made a setup like that some 12 years ago, even combined with a basscube in front of the rear channel......
the xs4600 could handle it fine...... front 2 ohm stereo, rear 2 ohm mono...... (and a 0.5F cap close to it)
If you still have to buy an amp(s), it would be better to buy two 2channel amps,
so u can use a separated powersupply for speakers and for the sub channel.........
If you already have the amp, look for a second amp.... the result at the end will be better............;
