Post by musocat »

Even thoe there is sound coming through, there is also a interferance, like a radio off its staion kind of noise, of some sort coming through as well, which doesnt change with volume. Does anyone have any idea whats going on with it

Possible the shield connection of the RCA jack to the board for that channel has failed. check continuity between the shield on the jack where the RCA cable gets connected and ground...assuming its a common ground amp which the older PGs I have appear to be. I don't know much about the Octanes. If the meter don't beep, the jack may be your issue.
