Re: Feeler MS/MPS heatsinks
Hi,
This is my first post in the forum.
I bought my first MS in the 80 and still own a MS275, MQ430, a MS2125 and a AX406A. When I read about Nils project to rebuild MS heat sinks I was immediately fascinated. I contacted Him, and he was offering me any size I would like.
So I requested a original FAS size, to build my own one
Since this week, I hold the sink in my hands, and now my part starts.
THX to Nils, who did a really great job!!

Re: Feeler MS/MPS heatsinks
First things I already get fixed is recapping the ms2125 and mq430.
Next step will be to mark all necessary holes for drilling on the sink - it will be more than 60 holes
After drilling I have to cut the threats. The original threats are inch, but I would like to go for metric ones.
But I have to check this first with the different hole sizes of the transistors.
To get all right hole positions and correct threats seams to be the worst part at the moment.
Sanding and powdering should not be a big action.
I do not have an idea, how to powder the side plate of the mq430. It's grey in the moment, and this does not fit to my white sink. The ms2125 plate is already white. To color the mq plate is not the problem, but to get all the text on the plate.....
Pictures will follow
