Line Out Converter Question

Hey Guys,
Will be putting a simple system (hopefully) into my dad's truck next weekend. We will be using a line out converter because he is keeping his stock headunit.

I see good reviews on a couple of NVX 4 channel converters, but one has a maximum input of 40 watts, and the other has a maximum input of 150 watts.

I am assuming the maximum input is how much the LOC is seeing from the stock headunit. Is that correct?
If not, and it has anything to do with how much power I expect to get out of the amp once the RCAs are connected, I want to make sure I go with the higher rated max input rather than lower.

Expecting to run RSD amp, possibly bridging the front channels if my dad wants to go without his fader and briding the rear channels for the sub.

yes your correct it is listing the input power that it sees either from the stock deck, or the stock amps if its a premium system.

Your not going to get more than 60watts from any stock premium system but if you want to play it safe then get the one with the higher wattage rating.
