OEM integration revisited

Post by Audiophiliac »

With the new Jeep on its way, its time to start thinking about audio....being that the top and doors will be off as often as the weather permits mostly, security is a top priority. So that means nothing visible. I would like to keep the factory CD head unit and add iPod capability. I am looking at Alpine's PXE-650, Rockford's 3Sixty, and JL Cleansweep....so far, the 3Sixty seems to be most what I am looking for...it has aux inputs, and a remote volume/source selection....which the Alpine does too, but you have to use the wireless remote and mount an IR sensor...the 3Sixty uses a wired knob with push button for switching between the OEM radio and aux input. Is there any other processors out there that can do what I want? I havent looked in a while...I know Alto Mobile makes some similar stuff....I dont know....What say you?

Seen and heard great things done with the 3sixty.......it gets my vote.
I think we've established that "Ka Ka" and "Tukki Tukki" don't work.

JBL is suppose to be coming out with an amazing unit too.
Can one send others to war if hes not willing to go himself?
