Found the radar-unit today; sorry to tell you that after testing, I remembered why it ended up in my closet; The radar-field can not be set to the dimensions of the interior of the car.
Useless, so this time I threw it away, to avoid the same thing happening later.
Check locally for one; They're very easy to install, and work 100% better than those ultrasonic systems.
If I can get hold of one later, I'll let you know.
pic; this is the one.
Hope I can still offer you one soon.

3 days ago my entire system was stolen. My xenon subs, xenon amps, box, jvc dvd deck, my headrest monitors.
But don't feel too bad about not having an aftermarket alarm -- I had a pager alarm - but the guys dissconnected my horn -- But my pager was in my pants pocket and i'm a heavy sleeper.
But insurance usually only covers $2000 for a stereo system. The rest you might have to cover on the home owners insurance.

Thats crazy, disconnected ur horn...a-holes. My insurance would have covered the stereo if it was permanently installed but my deductible of 500 would have still applied and I only got about that much of a system stolen. Cds of course wouldn't be covered at all and those were what mattered most to me...mrblob wrote:3 days ago my entire system was stolen. Eventually when I feel better I will think about putting something in again. Not for a while though.

Thanks for checking. I will talk to the guys who just installed my alarm, I have to swing by there in a couple weeks. I'll see if they can get these. I am loving the idea.nico boom wrote:Found the radar-unit today; sorry to tell you that after testing, I remembered why it ended up in my closet; The radar-field can not be set to the dimensions of the interior of the car.

Freakin low lives part 2
So I went to a local bar by ccsu last night and hung out for a couple hours. Some douchebag mother f-er turned their big ass tire into my rear passenger side door and left a huge dent in the parking lot and most likely told no one...more good luck for me, I swear I am gonna have to sell this car so I don't go bankrupt soon paying for things on it to get repaired($500 ded). I will post a pic later on. Hopefully this will be the last issue I see if things really do come in threes...$1200 clutch job/broken into/hit and run...

Had to be, when my friend and I left the parking lot was pretty empty. I am gonna call the bar about 7 to see if anyone happened to report seeing it happen but I am not going to get excited about that since it was not in the wide open...Bfowler wrote:fucks sake mang. that's ridiculous.
so it was someone that came there after you and left before you?
And yes, I do think things have to get better as shitty as they are right now...desperately waiting to get over the hump.
