Hey guys, just wanted your input, what are your views on soundstream reference comps,rf60c's, 6.5''.These will be run passive off my x200.4.I like good mid bass,n warm, not harsh tweets, am i goin the right route with these comps, costing bout $300.thanx
one of the best car audio designed speakers on the market bar none. I would only put the likes of dyn, higher morel, higher rainbow, brax, and a select few above those prs comps.
The 4" PRS midrange measure in all test and sounds better according to npdang on DIYMA then scan 12m, Seas excels 4.5, peerless exclusive 4.5", focal be, and audio tech. He claims it's the best 4" ever made.
Runnign active you can go DIY too which IMO is the best route.
Can one send others to war if hes not willing to go himself?
The 4" for now are only in japan and europe. About $400 a pair. THe 6.5" can be had in USA onlien for about $250 a set. Hold up I need to fidn the reviews objective and subjective for the 6.5" set.

Hey guys, its a pity that these pioneer's are not avail down here in south africa, my choices are the soundstream reference, dls ms6a,mtx thunder axe hi end, thats about it, not much else in my budget, what do you guys think?
the pioneer prs are fantastic components, but be aware that they are also monsters. So they are difficult to place in most vehicles without customization. They put the Xenon 6.5 woofer to shame in physical size if you're familiar with them.
