Need Help with Radio Install
I got this 2000 Year Buick LeSabre. I need to change the radio of course. I just read that this cars OEM radio is connected to the car CPU. If I change the radio the car wont start. is this true? How do I get around this bullshit? Thanks

The info you received isn't exactly true. There are other circuits in your car that are dependent on your factory radio to function properly, but removing it won't prevent the car from starting. Don't worry though, there are companies that make specific products to accommodate an aftermarket radio for your Buick without losing the functionality of other vehicle features. Something like a Metra GMRC-04 should get you taken care of and can be found at your local dealer when you're picking up the fit kit and antenna adapter that you'll also need for the install.
