Very good job indeed. I've worked w/welding aluminum for the past 8 years. Sorry I cought this thread to late to give a tip or two, but you did great. I can see my help wouldn't have been needed.

Wow Mark, that looks great!

I can't believe it's fully working though - that's the only reason I didn't have a bid on it  I guess I'm going to have to take a few more risks in the future

Looks really nice. Did the M100 come with a black label on the front from the start or did you add that?
Do you have a colour code (or even a link) to the paint you used for the heatsink? I have an M44 + M100 that needs the same treatment. :D

I have also a question for you:
did you remove the circuit board of the amp when you repainted the heatsink or have you just put a simple cover (like plastic) on it when you repainted the heatsink?!

I want to repaint my pg outlaw amp, in black

I'm fairly new to PG though mate, I've only been buying it for the last 5 or 6 years :D

Did you ever see the Mitsubishi Galant I had a couple of years ago Marko?

That had 2 ZX350's bridged running a Morel WR8 each and an MX2 doing the crossover for the Horns to Mids.

Did you buy the EQT's off me when I pulled that install??? They had a set of Clear covers, I'm sure I saw them in the classifieds on TA the other day.

Anyways, I've never seen your car, I've missed the last couple of T-Events, as car audio has been on the back burner for a couple of years but I'll have to find you at the next one.

Like I said before I'm trying to build a 90's audio system to go in the Renault. So far I've got an RF 8140 HU with Changer, The Outlaw is en-route, an Aliante LTD and some DLS R6's. The R6's are date stamped 2000 so they're going to have to go

Sorry to go massively off topic guy's

Marko, Did you bag the Route 66 off Ebay the other week???

If he did buy those EQT's, then I had them too for bit!

Did you buy Masons Outlaw? I too have one coming my way, looks like they'll be popular on TA!

Yeah, I bought Masons and I've just bagged an M25 off Ebay so I can run active with the right Cross over, ZPX2 would be nice :D

yes i did run your old eqt's for a season and they're top shelf sq although i did have a little alternator whine i could never shift, none at all with the eq230 8) funny enough i still have 3 brand new eqt covers stashed away for a rainy day some time :D

i did buy the route66 last week, didn't think i was gonna win it then there was a bid retraction and i was back in! she's a beauty too, inside is like brand new, outside is sweet as well, i now have my dream set up to go in at some point...

Nice one on the R66, I did fancy that but the Outlaw seems better suited to what I'm after, I just hope the paint damage to the Outlaw is worse in the pics.

Whats the dream set-up then???

I needed those EQT when I ran Horns in the Galant, Good kit by all accounts, I don't recall getting any alt whine when running them. It sounds like they've done the rounds on TA, I think it was EFMax that bought them originally.

2 route66's on thre front end, all 12 channels bridged to 6, 1 amp per side for ultimate seperation, the m25 sections have all the preamp gubbins removed for ultra sq! just need to figure out how to make each one do a 3way like i need it.

never saw your gallant unfortunatly....
