input voltage on TiDEQ

Post by Stereo Junkie »

The manual states 1-4VRMS input. Will it handle 8?

Thanks,

I think there might be. I seem to remember having issues with an Eclipse 8v head unit running one of those. I can't remember what the resolve was tho. Are you using a High voltage head unit or are you using line drivers?

I have a really small amount of noise that I am trying to minimize.

And I know about http://phoenixphorum.com/trouble-shooti ... vt178.html

I don't have the knowledge to replace any of these (Electric fuel pump, non-RFI spark plug wires, ECU, ABS control unit, SRS/Airbag control unit, Power steering assist control unit) if they are causing it.

And did I mention it is a small amount of noise?

Currently only the head unit voltage from the NAK CD500.

When I spoke to errin about it, he said to really be careful with a line driver. I had mine on a PLD1, but it was turned way down. the DEQ wont handle the high input, adn you will end up with a nice paperweight. Just be careful with a line driver, and dont max it out.
