Ported box for 2 - 12" RSd's

Hey long time no see!

Well I have had all the components of my system for awhile:

Eclipse CD5444
Pioneer Premier TS-C520PRS 5.25" Components
PG X100.2 Amp
PG X600.1 Amp
2 - 12" PG RSd D4 subwoofers wired 4 ohm to x600.1

And I'm thinking I need some more output. Hence the ported box. Problem is, I don't have 7 cu. ft. to work with. Can they do anything in a box size of say....3~4 cu ft? Gah!

hmm, you could try it...or maybe use external ports...

the 3-4 size is what i would reccomend for a sealed box....

I knew someone would say that. Has anyone built one? A smaller ported box that is?

I really think I need more power. Maybe I should have a different box built. But I think more power is required. Hmmmm.

Has anyone built a ported box for these yet?

Unfortunately they are just big box subs. The RSD10s and RSDCs are much better for smaller boxes. Shoehorning them in 2cuft each would kill your low bass output, which is where those subs excel, so it somewhat defeats the purpose.

i got 2 in a 7cuft tuned to 32hz. absolutely love it, considerably louder than the 3.6 cuft sealed box i had before. then again i have never heard any other setups

7 cu ft?! holy ish, i might as well port my trunk lol.
