m100 or ms2125?

Post by nico boom »

what would have your preference, if they cost the same; m100, or a ms2125?
and why..
power-ratings are a bit comparable, but appearence is very different.
also no filter in the ms.
I'm a ms-lover, but get offered m-series as well over here.
are they worth to collect as well as the ms-series..
give your opinion!

MS2125 is much more robust and capable of far more output.

They sound the same.

I prefer the looks of MS amps, and the ability to show the circuit board is SEXY!

A mint M-series amp, especially the Outlaw/Bandits still look really good.

They are definitely worth collecting in my mind. They truly have benchmark soundquality, and surprisingly high output for such old amps.

I have never owned any of the MS stuff, so I can't compare them. The only thing I dislike about the regular M series is the gold heat sinks. I much prefer the Route 66 all white look and ofcousre the Outlaw/Bandit.
