HELP!! PG RSDC104 enclosure...
Just found the PG specs on the 10" RSDC sealed enclosure, less than .5 gross per driver! Is that correct??? I currently have a .85 cu ft gross per chamber sealed 3/4 " MDF enclosure, how far off am I guys?

Come on guys, I really need help with this one! I want to make sure my enclosure is up to spec, I want them to sound the best they can in a sealed box! I have really looked deep into the RSDc line, I didnt realize these were a different speaker than the RSD (sorry deathcloud!). I am hoping sooooo much that I will be happy with these subs as I would rather put my extra money into the 2009 Trek Madone 4.5 I just ordered! I like to think w/ the imprint, tons of power and the correct sealed enclosure I will be satisfied with the RSDc 10's!

I put the same sub in a .75 box at first while I built the other box with about 300 watts going to it. It sounded pretty good but a bit boomy on some songs. The box I have now is .43 if I remember correctly. It did tighten up a bit and became smoother on the lower end. I also have about 500 watts going the sub now so that may have helped me more than the air space.
I am still amazed at how low these things play for 10.
You could try both, if the .85 is too much ad the foam.

Just a small piece of styrofoam? How big do you think? Leave it loose? A little glue maybe, I want to be able to remove it because the box is to spec for the Polk SR's (if I still want them after listerning to the PG's...).

you would want to secure them, but maybe just enough so they can be removed later.
if your box is .85 and you want to get down to .667 then you you need to lose .18cf of space. a 6x6x6 cube is .125 cf of space
use the calculator hear: http://www.bcae1.com/spboxnew2.htm to make a shape that is .18 cf of space
