Any ideas???

Post by steelbath »

Hey all,
i recently installed my audio stuff it consists of
PG tantrum 1200.1
Eclipse sw8200 x2 in a 3cuft sealed box
Eclipse CD3200
Soundstream BX15
Soundstream 2farad cap
Soundstream PCX4.540
DLS UP6i x2
Soundstream 700ca battery

I wasnt happy with the Soundstream PCX4.540 amp so i purchased
a PG x200.4 as this amp is much bigger looks like im going to change my boot and start again , any ideas would be helpful.

i agree!^

you will get cancelation unless the subs are actually "sealed in" the cab and out of the trunk.

that 200.4 is a beast!

also keep in mind, if you bridge it, there is a reason it has 2 4awg inputs

by turning my box around so the subs face towards the boot will this make it sound better and would it affect the sound volume?

i have worked out measurements to build a box facing the other way, was going to make it wider but not as deep so it sits back in my boot more then i should be able to put the amps under some perspex in front on the floor.
