with regards to new subs and amps...are they like engines that u have to run it in a bit b4 it gets to its potential...causemy subs dont really seem to be very loud..considering the only 10's but still...

hope that makes sense... :?

Definitely with subs. They come extremely tight in most cases and benefit from a nice breakin period...hell the Ti Elite subs required an s-load of breakin time before they sounded right. Sometimes you can hurt the subs if you don't let them break in for a while.

Amps I am not too sure about. I don't think amps need to be broken in though.

is there a know lengthor is there a way i can tell when they run in..or has anyone on this forum had experience with 10" OCTANE -ZR Subs

just install them and for the first 10 hours or so, play them normal, dont hammer them, just let them play. and they will come out fine.
