sapphire 3.0x

Post by zuraimi »

i just purchase an old skool pheonix gold sapphire 3.0x. Once the i wired it up, the led show green color and it means the amplifier is functioning. The problem arose is that once in increase the gain from 2v to 0.2v, it only amplify little signal only. What will be the problem actually? Does it needs to be repair?

Just normal headunit, Sony CDX-V4800. Is the amplifier sensitive with the level of source signal?

I've just opened my amp and notice that one of the capacitor almost torn out and the board around the two resistors are black...later i upload the real picture... could this lead to my problem?
