Holy shit. Good work!

You should get some nicer speaker cabling and clean up that internal wiring. I don't think they planned for plexi when they put in those jumper wires

that looks awsome!!

what would of been very trick would of been to router a lip on the lower edge of the perspex so it sit on the plate by about 10mm and screwed down with 3 more gold screws, the hard bit would of been routering the perspex :?

is it a camera trick or does it look a bit blue? either way it's unique and looks the dogs bollox!

The blue happens because of the flash, the pearl candy purpley colour shows up that colour when in a dark room and a flash hits it!

Maybe some Purple speaker cables I'm thinking!

Also This is the third perspex cover i've made fo r it Marko, the first two had been routered like we discussed, when i say routered what I mean is really badly burned even when covered in water, going slowly, yada yada, I will eventually be able to get it right, but for now I've made it so the distance is so exact that when I put the screws in for the front of the termial blocks, it pulls the metal plate up to the perspex and no movement, it kinda clamps it in, very good fit!!!

i think experimenting with differant types of plastic would give the results you want, i know what you mean about melted perspex though, done it before just cutting with a jigsaw!!

I have a m44-m50-eq230-crossover screen printed at the factory back in the day in that same purple. I have had this stuff since new and used it daily till last year when I packed it away. I have to figure out how to shrink down the size of the picture so I can up load it. Its all up for sale as a package and am taking offers. PM me with your email and I will send you a picture. I have never replaced the caps due to the fact it has allways been drivin hard without a single issue.
