Broken amp

Post by ferrariboy150 »

I Broke my tantrum 1200.1 today. I was setting up the sens with a multimeter and wanted to see if the numbers changed with the sub wires unhooked. So i took a screw driver about the unscrew a terminal and... ZAP. Blew my fuse and every time i reset it, it will blow instantly. Any help?

Damn, that sucks. Always turn your system off before you start playing around at the terminals!

Sounds like you've shorted an output FET. PG has a flat rate of repair on these amps, so you can get it fixed at a nominal price.
