Recommend an Active Crossover

Post by maka78 »

I'm looking for a 2 way active crossover to split my TI6 Elites, but don't know any that is good and inexpensive. Anyone have any good ideas?

I was thinking about getting an MA Audio HK2X, but can't find it anywhere.

Thanks!

This seems like a good active crossover: Lanzar OPTIX10.

It's 12 db/oct though - What disadvantages does that have to a 24 db/oct filter?

it can be an advantage with the right drivers/install, there is no right and wrong when it comes to filters..in a car anyway!

i used a ppi frx456 in my last car/install that had 12db slopes and the sq was incredible.

I agree, as I have not owned an AC x-over, I have used plenty of their other products.

Personally I prefer to use head units that have the x-over built in.
