Xenon and LPL

Hey Fellas,

I'm happy to find a community that shares the same audio components as I do. I have two Xenon 12D2 subs powered by a 1200 Xenon amp. I made my own LPL knob and worked for over a year. Not long ago I accidently pulled the wire (telephone cord) and ripped it off the knob when I removed my center console. I re-did my knob following the diagram from PG and noticed that I no longer can control the volume. I tried other already made bass knobs and they dont work. Did I mess up my LPL input from the amp? Is there a fix to this?

Sounds to me like the knob you made isn't wired correctly. It shouldn't have messed anything up inside the amp. Double/triple check your solder points and wire.

I checked all of that already. I also tested other remote knobs for other amps (Planet Audio) and no luck.

Did those particular knobs work before your mishap?

there is no "power" within the knob or cable, so the only potential factors are, faulty knob, incorrect wiring, faulty cable,or you pulled the connection on the amp loose (trace off the circuit board?) out

i would try popping the cover off the amp (requires the nuts on the rca terminals to be removed as well as the little phillips screws and take a peek

This is what threw me off also. It doesn't make sense why the knob wouldn't work if no damage was caused at the amp.
