Finally got amp. Some more quetions

OK so today is the day to buy everything. Here's what I'm buying after all of your guys help.

Just a couple of questions before I finalize everything. Do I need special parts or will the speaker fit where my old speaker already is? Also, my car has 5 1/4" but should I get the 6.5" and adjust it to make it fit? Does the bigger size make that much of a difference? Also I know the top two are legit sights but how good is audiosavings?

Depends on where you are at. I believe Audiosavings is out of New York, and I live in Michigan and it only took a week or a little less for my products to arrive.

Well i live in NY so hopefully that would be quick. I did have one problem though. I tried to order the amp off ebay and it said that I needed a confirmed shipping address. Im guessing this is because i have never used ebay before and that was my first purchase? Anyways, its not a big deal since my friend could just buy it for me.

yay! my speakers and wiring came in today. Just waiting for the amp. It should be here before christmas. Should I know anything before I start to buy everything in? Like certain deck settings or settings on the amp?

So I'm only waiting for my amp to come in, which shouldnt be too much longer. Before i set everything up is there anything important i should know? Like amp settings or Headunit settings. I remember when i first got my HU i messed with a bunch of stuff that didnt do anything when changed. Im guessing it had to do with speakers. So is there anything i should know before i go ahead and start setting everything up?

it may be easier, as far as tuning etc., once u have the complete puzzle; i would assume ur h/u is wired up with rcas ran to wherever the amps will be located, all speakers are hooked up with speaker wire ran to where the amps willbe located, assuming u have run , at least 4 gauge, (fused with in 18inches of car battery), going to a fused distrubution block, then 4 gauge coming out of that for amp(s), sanded bare metal areas down within 18 inches of amp locations for ur ground(s) to amp(s), basically if this is the case, I dont think u can do much more, unless uve begun to build an amp rack for ur amps, or dynamted, or other similiar product to keep rattles down when subs hit,; once u do go to tune, i suggest downlaoding the 60hz sinewave tone for DMM tuning of amps, and keep all bass, mid, treble settings on head unit set to flat, same if u have an eq, and loudness button OFF!!!( not all h/u have this feature, but if u do, then turn it off) i can think of nothing else, till amps come-i think soundbuggy.com, is where i downloaded the 60hz testone from?! stipud will know where to find if im wrong-Christian

I haven't run any wires yet but to me it seems like I didn't get enough speaker wire. The speaker wire that came with it was 16 and i have a roll of 18. Is there a big difference? Will that effect the sound quality?
