Suggestions / Ideas Wanted

Post by Half-Fast »

I am looking at upgrading the sound system in my 2007 Tahoe. I have a pair of TI5 comps and a pair of TI9s. I'll probably use a JL cleansweep as I want to keep the factory headunit.
For amps I need at least 200 per channel to the TI5s and at least 200 per TI9. 300 per channel would be even better.
Subs will have to be added in the second phase of the install.

I would like some recommendations on amps to run the TI5/TI9 front speakers. Also, anyone have experience with the JL Cleansweep? Is it a good choice or is there a better interface for my OEM headunit?

Thanks

The 3Sixty and 3Sixty.2 especially are, imo better.

Unfortunately they often have problems with the Bluetooth and have to be sent in to be repaired.

There is also the alpine h650. I can't comment on it personally, but there is a pretty good write up on it by NPDANG over at diyma.com. http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/mem ... sions.html

I am waiting for the JBL MS-8, which will hopefully be available by Spring, though there is no ETA currently.
