Just because one amp works flawlessly (and I'm sure you know) doesn't mean that another on the same power input wont.

I think what he might be getting at is it might be the speaker wire or the sub/s themselves (VC's maybe) shorting out.

I'm not saying that that is what it is, just my input. The simplest things are most often overlooked.

I have been doing systems for years, I can't see how I could wire it up wrong, just seems to simple for that, especially considering the other amp works, and this one powers up every time. The ground is solid.

Easy there tiger, I'm not saying you did anything wrong. All I'm saying is that even the best of us make mistakes sometimes. No biggie mang! I'm just saying that from half way around the country it sounds like a wiring issue to me. I could be wrong, it wouldn't be the first time, and sure as hell wouldn't be the last.

You are running one sub correct?

The X1200.1 might have an intermittent ground connection. Try measuring the B+ and Remote voltage at the amp power terminals.

Well I checked the coils, and they read just fine. Then I re wired it. I checked the power on the amp, and the remote, they both red 13+ volts. I played music loud, and put a dmm to each of the terminals, and got no voltage read. I then changed the rcas, and still got no read out. Amp powers up nice, but has no output.

Turns out the amp is just fine. Disconnected all power to the amp, connected it back, and it been flawless.. Guess I will be putting it up for sale tonight now. Been testing it for a few days, good to go.
