sub firing position

sub firing position

Hi I have a subaru forrester and im building a new box for my rsd 12's and was wondering if id get the same performance if i let the subs face up. Anyone have any ideas?

Kinda depends on the box...and conditions in your car...as well as the subs...hard to say...give us some more specs? type of box or pics...?
Have you TRIED moving the box around? rear facing, forward facing, upward facing? doesn't hurt to try! :)

the difference between those tow setups should be pretty minimal since they both give the wave about the same area to develop. it really will depend on each car, so playing around with it is your best bet

I tried a few different layouts in a Subaru Legacy... subs facing the rear was by far the best.

I'm currently helping a buddy with his WRX wagon and facing back sounds the best to me. He likes the way it sounds facing side to side though............
Those tender little burgers with them little, itty-bitty grilled onions that just explode in ya mouth like flavor crystals every time you bite into one.. just makes me want to burn this muthafuka down.... Come on, Pookie, let's burn this muthafuka down!!!
