I like how he goes after your install
OMG WIRES EVERYWHERE. OMG TWO DIFFERENT SIZE SUB BOXES.
It's ok if he can't accept that the Ti Elite is made by Morel and is, for all intents and purposes a Morel Elate driver. It's ok if he thinks PG sound quality, build quality, support, whatever is inferior.
That's what I like about this place, despite how much of PG fiends we all are, we can generally accept that other gear is decent and won't go around slagging people off because they use MB, Focal, Infinity, whatever.
People who rag on gear like that rarely provide any kind of supporting evidence for their preferences, they just repeat bullshit hearsay.

I see this kind of person other places too. I use 3D software from Autodesk called Inventor. The main competition is a brand called SolidWorks. Without fail, hardcore SolidWorks people talk shit about Inventor. The programs are pretty much equal. Inventor people NEVER EVER mention the competition, at least not at the meetings and user groups I attend, or in their literature. It's not an issue what other people use.
I think this is just a division in the culture that is more easily seen. Some percentage of people are weak and needy and stupid. They confuse brand identity with their own identity. Starbucks is a great example of this dynamic. So if they make "right" decisions (knowing damn well how ignorant they are themselves) then every other decision is "wrong" by default.
Some people don't want to ever be wrong- even if it means very narrow horizons, some people think life is learned by making mistakes and paying attention.
This forum is a testament to independent thinking, PG thanks you.

well put! and, b/c u mentioned it, what about other companies, like pepsi, FEELING the need to slam their competitor, when in fact, theres want/need for both-or the dunkin donuts ads, when they slam starbux, its like if ur product is soo good, why do you feel the need to slam them??? to me, its really saying they are afraid their product is inferior, jmhoOldSchoolFool wrote:"That's what I like about this place, despite how much of PG fiends we all are, we can generally accept that other gear is decent and won't go around slagging people off because they use MB, Focal, Infinity, whatever"

For real tho, I grew up here in the good old mid ohio valley. The only car audio store I had access to was across the bridge in west virginia. They sold JL audio and ...... well come to think of it thats all they sold. The only other option around here was a place called "The Bargain Corner". O yeah you know what Im talking about. So around here when I was 14 everyone had american legacy this and Pyle that. Cars driving around rattling apart, Distortion filled the atmosphere. Then I got my uncle to take me to a local db drag type event and I heard the car that turned me onto bass. It was a CRX built by no other than AudioCRafters AKA the JL store. It had a wall with 6 12in w6's in it. I thought it was the best shit ever. So i went out and spent my whole piggy bank on a set of W0's when i was 14. I thought I had it going on. So I have had many a ignorant thought in my time, not to say that JL is junk, but overpriced might fit. I have to say before I joined this forum I had honestly thought form the things I had read on the internet that PG had gone clear down the toilet. It really is a terrible thing that people, including myself, will take someone else's opinion and practically make it their own. I am so glad that I didnt get crusified by you guys for saying some shit about a x600.1 I had on Image dyanmics forum. All along the problem i thought i was having with the amp was a VC problem with the driver. Im sorry i was so quick to talk shit. I feel very "at home" in this forum. Everyone on here seem like down to earth, honest folks looking to spread knowledge and good times. Thanks all of you
