mine was to snip the diodes that controled the voltage rails.

my 0.5 did about 1600 give or take.

no actually you had to run this thing down low but if you gave it thepwer it needed that amp banged hard.

there is a contol unit that changes the amp to high current mode so it
will run a lower impedence load with out killing it self.

over built amp

if you snip two diodes on a certain board the amp will try to put out what ever it can at the respective impedence.

so yeah the amp could bang but at the cost of drawing a hellah amount of current and you could destroy the pwer supply if you wearnt careful.

i ran two optimas and a pg 225 amp alterantor to mine and it
was impressive.
