octane CF paint
octane CF paint
I have a DD-5 on its way and I was thinking it would be cool if I could paint it to match my octane. Anyone done this before? I saw a show once where they quickly showed how they did it with some kind of matt the layed on it but that is as much as I know.

the DD-5 will be up infront of my truck above the glove box. In 97 the passenger side airbag was an options package I didn't buy so I have a blank spot there just perfect for this. I am not concerned with the paint looking EXACTLY the same as the amp since it will not be right next to it. I know some people that have done real CF overlays with finishing resin. With this being a flat surface it should not be too hard and it is not a big piece either so maybe I will look into the real thing.
