Cleaning a cyclone saturday night

Post by joerg »

I'm still at Matt's place right now and we just finished cleaning the brandnew in box cyclone i bought off ebay in february! We hooked it up and it didn't work at all! Kind a pissed me off because the seller told me he bench tested it for a minute before he putted it on ebay!

So we decided to open it up, as i already left positive feedback for it, hoped that it is not damaged beyond repairs! Having a great time up here and figured out that it actually is very easy to clean a clone!

Buy the two on ebay right now! 8) 650USD for 2 working clones seems to be pretty reasonable offer to me! And the broken connector is a very easy thing to replace! I bought 2 non working ones that came brand new in box for a total of 800USD and 2 used ones in good condition that worked fine when i got them for a total of 900USD.

But what are u actually doin with them? They wont fit your BMW's trunk anyway

Good work guys; It's really simple indeed after you got over the hesitation to try out your first one; kinda like with your first girl.
Hope the cyclone-cleaning-post was helpfull with doing your first one.....

Well; make us a HOW-TO-DO-A-GIRL thread then with mixed pics of removing the cover/clothes of a cyclone/girl, vacuuming a cyclone/girl, applying a protective layer around the magnet, insert the [big and heavy] magnet into....ah, you figure out the rest
Best part is the testing though, with all parts in place where they belong, and see it moving.....

Gotta say thanks to Nico! We had to look 2 times in your description because we were not sure about the screw size for the wormhole screws and how to put the motor back in place and center the paddels again! 8)
