They'd have to pay me a LOT of money...and build the right stuff to make it all happen. But...saying that, having Morgan there ain't bad
My best recommendation is to do a MS275/2125 circa 21st century!
Build a few "State of the Art" models, and then the normal meal ticket stuff.
Right now it almost doesn't matter, high end stuff isn't selling, middle line stuff isn't selling ...hell .....low end stuff isn't selling!!!

I agree right now here hardly anything car audio is selling and I live in a market that is thriving tons of jobs here and people have money to spend. 10 years ago cars were booming all over town now I hear one maybe twice a month with boom I can only imagine in the states where the huge mass of consumers is would be hard right now to convince someone that they need a amp and sub instead of buying extra food and clothing for the family.
I look forward to some new PG offerings though especially some high powered amps.

Larry, my man. Good to see you're about. Those days were fun.CarAudioGuru wrote:They'd have to pay me a LOT of money...and build the right stuff to make it all happen. But...saying that, having Morgan there ain't bad

Update:
Larry pretty much nailed it on what's need to happen.
We mixing old and new school. The range of products (amplifiers) will be a little wider, what does that mean?
Look out for some higher end/powered models.
Think of it as the next generation MS/M/Titanium with big power...

Right now i am starting a savings account for the future pg amps. Hopefully by the time that they come out which i am guessing quarter 2 of 2010, i should have about 800 save up. Hopefully that will get me some great amps. If need be i would sell my xenons as well if there is a sick limite edition amp.
Just wondering if aamp will have a sneak peak or friends an family pre sale out here in florida cuz i remember hearing that the factory or wherehouse is located out here in florida. And im glad i moved out here if that is the case. Haha.

New subs and components too ..........maybe a "Good, Better, Best" system I'd assume....but........? Any new install goodies to speak of? Are you pushing for a DD5/10 revival?
Those tender little burgers with them little, itty-bitty grilled onions that just explode in ya mouth like flavor crystals every time you bite into one.. just makes me want to burn this muthafuka down.... Come on, Pookie, let's burn this muthafuka down!!!
I won't hold my breath anymore with the PG product line... been disappointed way too much over the years

I am more optimistic. It sounds like AAMP wants a full amp line out, and is willing to finance both outlier and entry level amps. While I would never use the entry level stuff myself, as long as they have good amps that meet or exceed what we have come to expect from PG over the years, I will continue to support them vehemently.jbondox wrote:I won't hold my breath anymore with the PG product line... been disappointed way too much over the years
Let's just wait and see I guess!

If it helps some morgan, Im sure this isnt ur area but at least u can let someone know or give some input or thoughts on this.
Well PG might still do repairs on their older lines ie: M, MS, ZX, ZPA, ZXTi, Ti and etc. But I really think since the snowball is rolling here with AAMP & PG and all. I think it would be really great and VERY benificail (excuse my spelling) to both sides of the company to maybe get into say......
refurbishing the older lines of amps and/or subs/speakers for followers like us here on the forum. Bur Im not jus saying repairing them like they do now. But say I have a 5 out of 10 perfecting working ZX amp that needs all the caps replaced but I have allot of money ($300) Im willing to invest in either having PG replace parts but also redo everything to make it factory brand new ie; new plexi's, new terminals, new fan, new paint, new logos, and etc. But also even upgrade some of the components to higher quality than jus exact replacement for even a better amp. Or say even replace the older logos and lettering on the amp to the new lettering that will be released when the new stuff comes out. (Id prefer to keep the old lettering myself thou) I think u see where Im going with this. But also say I have all this done by yall if and when yall may go this route but also when the amp is complete back it with a new 2yr warranty or something of that effect. I think something like this would have an enormous effect with the rebirth of PG and all. I dont think any audio company out there goes to lengths to back their products as this would. But also if this did happen with the company dont up the cost on parts for a higher margin and have rediculous labor rates either then no one even the little consumers who determine if a company fails or succeeds can afford to have this stuff done to their amps. Sorry this is a little long but I really hope PG or AAMP decides to go this route I really think this would change the course of mobile audio as PG did in the early 90's. Thanx for reading and listening

Also I think PG should not do rerelease lines like other company's (ie 95% of the stuff has the same shell but the insides are JUNK) do but say like the TA stuff but do it with the most successful lines but at the same time make them REBIRTHS (u know the whole rising PHOENIX saga) as say MS or ZX lines but use better components than the originals and use the original gold boards like the they did. BUT only release a LE numbers BUT only on their 20 and 25 year bdays.
