Detented pots for the high powered line. Non-detented for the "affordable" line.

Cool! I always liked the precision adjustments of my Xenon amps and am glad that was incorporated into the design of the new amps. :thumleft:

"powerful" line versus "affordable" line...

Do we get to see pictures from the "Sound Quality" line?

My MS275 and MS2150 (which are both old enough to drive themselves now and one of which is old enough to vote!) are easily the best SQ amps I have ever used (hundreds of setups over the years) - but I wouldnt qualify it as the "powerful" line and when I bought it back in 91/92 for 1200.00 it was most definitely not a "budget" line.

So, while I havent been on this forum for a long time like a lot of these guys, I have been an Old PG Faithful for a long time.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry I was being a little too vague.

Powerful, headroom a plenty line would all be good words to describe the new upper end line. I would argue an MS amp definitely falls into a similar category.

In reality, an MS amp sounds about the same as any other amp at low and medium volumes. Its when you turn it up and experience its ability to deliver headroom (dynamic power) that makes it stand out.

I love the brushed aluminum and Tri-Led's!

Is the midrange above supposed to replace the Ryval component or is this the high end midrange? I noticed the grill resembles the Ryval grill and the surround is foam which I hope is not used on the higher end component line.

Thats what I figured. I haven't had much listening time on the Ryvals, only what I heard after installing some coaxial's in my sisters car and they sound good on little amounts of power.

I'm confused...

Is that endplate on the amp set up so you have to put your mounting screws in on an angle?

Mounting screws are at a minor angle, its overemphasized in that rendering.

it is going to be "solid works" or "Autodesk inventor"
I think we've established that "Ka Ka" and "Tukki Tukki" don't work.

MS Paint and Notepad.

Solidworks and ProE.

Phil is the only man on the planet that uses inventor.

Yup, Def has the constraints/anti aliasing properties of Solidworks. There are no obvious signs of Rhino/3D studio. Im a bit surprised by ProE though. That could be mocked up (design wise) completely in Solidworks. Im thinking the ProE came in later for the tooling side of things. Any idea what PG used to use compared to now? ProE isnt cheap...

Morgan, Im assuming they actually render these (even in photo works). Any chance we could get some of those rather than just the surfacing?

Havent played with solidworks myself, I was interested because I use a lot of Rhino & 3DsMax for modeling & photorealistic rendering but that looked like neither.

The side venting looks a lot like the newer Alienware laptop front ends.
Would be bad-ass with some lighting seeping out from behind.
