yes specifically the 900.7. Seems like everyone I ever knew that used one, only used it for a short time...

I have issues with the preamp bords in my zx600.2ti, bolth of my zx475ti has had issues with the preamp bords.. my boy has had issues with the preamp bords in his 800.1ti. When these amps r all up and running they put out awsome sound.... But sooner or latter your going to have to work on them ...

If they nib u should be all set.:.. the. Big thing is keeping the amp clean and if u cqn mount them so the amps are standing up.... As moisture can be an issue .... I think that I am going to try to coat the top of the pre amp bord of my 900.7 in wax to see if that helps and maybe come up with some kind of drip gard for the rest ....

make sure that its a hight temp wax or your gonna make a hell of a mess. I would consider other chemicals before I went with wax.

what would you use... I know way way way way back in the day wax was what was used ... As I don't want to dammage the bord...

Yeah the first post is an amp I was trying to get for parts ... But the guy want way to much for it ... It is also the same bord that was in my 900.7 in the first place .. just missing more parts LOL but its the same bord on this post as on that post ...

i have seen many of them on ebay with one channel out
I would take with someone that fixes pg amp im sure you can still get parts..maybe not oem but that will do the same thing

Thanks ... I have Ben watching ebay ... Hard ..... As of now I have this amp running fine ... I just want an parts amp just in case it has an issue ... Then I have own parts to fix it with... The only 900.7 that I see on ebay is an used one and the guy got an price of $800+ and that amp is used .... I have found nib amps for way less .. LOL

Anytime you have an amplifier that is this complex and has seven channels the likely hood of something failing increases.

It's not that there is a specific defect in the design, its just the amount of components and channels that leads to higher possibility of issues.

Thank you for the info Morgan . I think the hole issue with the 900.7 will end up being the amps got mis-used or abused ... Mixed with bad install ... Speaker lead get,s shorted ect .. the bord that now lives in my 900.7 has had an repair to one of the sub ch ... I ask a lot out of this amp ... It's job is to run tweets and mids on ch 1&2.. upper mid bass is run off ch 3&4 and the two sub ch drive an pr of 8" woofers for the lower mid bass .. that's 4 tweets 4 3" mids one 1&2. 2 6.5" and 2 5 1/4" mid bass on 3&4 and two 8" woofers that's 14 differant speakers off one amp ... And it dose it ...

i will disagree, there is a design flaw in it. the top case has no insulation or support, so it will ground out on the crossover board with very little pressure put on the top of the amp. that kind of goes hand in had with what morgan was saying about cramming 7 channels into a relatively small case (for 7 powerful channels anyway)

I can see that where the case is so long ...... But I have had issues with the smaller ti amps .. and x-over bords ... So could it be all the ti amps have the same issue with the top cover flexing and shortting out the x-over bords..... Next is the 3 blue led lights is screewed on top of the x-over bord .. and I had an issue with one of my zx475it there the x-over bord had flexed enough for one of the small caps on the x-over bord to hit the top of one of the rail caps ... This cashed the amp to squeal I was able to fix the issue buy putting two sided sticky tape on the top of the rail caps
