man they did that to me onetime. I ordered it about 4:30 one evening and the next day the ups guy was throwing the package, placing the package on my front door. I was amazed as I am not that close to any big city...

Finally got the new caps in!

Damn the other ¨new¨ caps leaked bad in the two amps. One was fairly easy to fix, just removed the old ones, cleaned, installed the new ones, fixed a broken trace and it was happily running my XS

But the other one, damn it was a mess! 3 caps traces were destroyed, so i had to use Eric D's method to create new traces. When i hooked it up with a 60amp fuse, it blown right away, so i went back, dismount, resolder everything, put another 60amp fuse, still blown. So did this again, but this time i put a 80amp fuse. Big spark came out of my distro block for like a split second, then fuse didn't blow and the amp was finally working!

The 50v caps were just a little too big, so the xover card is a pushed a little higher than usual, but it doesn't affect the amp. I'm still not jumping high, will wait 2-3 days to see if everything is working well, but man now that it's over i'm happy to just drive around to nowhere just to listen to my system...

I would not go bumping up the fuse amprage...

I deal with this alot on ford trucks when the lights go out the drivers just put bigger fuses in untill the wire cant handle the load and it frys somewheres in the harness....then the looking for it is ON..(no fun on some)...

going from 60-80 is adding 1/3

just my asshole speaking...I mean my opinion...

well then you didn't up the fuse value and you are ok.

But if you didn't know, don't up the fuse rating as it is there for a reason. It should not pop any fuse without bieng under significant volume/load so there might be something else wrong there.
