Strange then... I haven't heard of anyone else having that issue! Definitely sucks! But it sounds like you found a good solution at least...

i had a yellow top in my last car it held up great for the 3 years i owend it, next car i got a yellow top from autozone and it was DOA :( i took it back for another one and i was not as impressed. I guess one bad experience ruined it for me. I tradded it for 2 kinetiks and OMG my car cranks louder and faster :lol:

I would recommend kinetik to any friend of mine

Yes I found it strange too Stupid. I learned my lessons over the years on over tightening stuff :D It was weird that the thread actually came out with the allen screw?? They are a different diameter inside and the terminal only has about one thread to catch the screw to hold the allen screw in place. Like I said I just tapped it to the next size and all is good. Hopefully I can test it out later.
