Well, in your application you're going to want to minimize depth of the enclosure so I'd start by figuring out your maximum dimensions for length and width of the enclosure. Then get a feel for how much depth you're willing to sacrifice so you'll know how practical the box will be when you start crunching numbers. Take your tape measure out to the car, lay down in the trunk and start visualizing. One important thing to consider will be that the bottom of the rear deck obviously isn't flat. Look for obstructions and whether you'll build around them or just mount the box a bit lower to avoid them.

The RSD 6.5" components are very good speakers, but I have never dealt with the BA components you're comparing them to. I would imagine someone here could give you a better idea of how they stack up, but the one thing I would say is don't let the low price and lack of flash of the RSD's fool you.

Bruce, I know you were looking at dual 10's, but I know you'd really like one of the 12's. You'd be looking at just a little more enclosure volume than the pair of 10's you could run the dvc with each half of a 400.4 to a coil and be lovin' it.

Brian has some great deals on them here...
