Just my point, yeah.. Thank you for those words.

I know for a fact that my gear can not stand up against todays best, but I know in my heart that I will get some attention anyway. Many of the serious guys in this game (with sponsored "top of the pop gear") are at my age, and will appreciate my install. Even though they might be better in SPL, I will be better in good old memories - and on top of it - I will rock as hell for sure.

Yup, that stash is mine! And I love every amp...

And everything is going into one old ampulance. I have passed my 30s of age, but I feel like I am 18 again when I am designing/planning this project... Makes me feel good...

I think an old Opel Kadett or Volvo Ambulance with an SPL setup built in your back yard better embodies the car audio spirit than the mass produced cookie cutter setups you see nowadays. Wouldn't you agree?
WORD!!!!! The build that Pedi is planning is back to where it all started for most of us, in the backyard. And i can guarantee that the car audio spirit is 100% in Pedi`s backyard\garage. I know most of his installs included his first and i really looking forward to se and help with this one.

YEP; I AGREE.
When I look at my old pics, I can still smell the glue, and MDF dust.
Watching complete panels of 22mm. MDF disappearing in that small car...., along with boxes full of screws :D :D
At the end of some nights, the rear tires obviously had sunk deeper under the bodywork, and it felt if I just pumped gas , going from a empty tank, to full...
Imagine my heartbeat, when I powered my latest install up for the first time..
The factory where we had been building it, shook on it's ground, and the cerwin's didn't move more than a few milimetres.
So PEDI; GO,GO,GO! Enjoy, and make yourself some happy memories [and tons of pics]..cause we want pics while you're working on it!
I'm pretty sure the glue, and MDF-smell will come alive with your pics just as well..

ya, I say go Pedi Go!
Part of it is fun. The other is nostalgia. And the best part is owning and making something yours.
Do it! Have fun. and as nico says....pictures! Not just of the finished product...lets have some along the way....the build tells us your story man! :)

Holy s.... Thats the coolest Opel i have ever seen
:D

There was a lot of build here in Norway to with Cerwin Vega and PG. And the old spirit is just like tou describe it and from what i can see on the picture it was 100% alive when you buildt in your Kadett. A picture can tell more than a 1000 words.

Do you know\remenber how loud it was playing and what subwoofers that was in that Opel?

I must agree with Phonixx here, that Opel-install is sooooo cool - and sooo 90s!!!

I am at this moment on a hotel, leaving for work in the Northsea (platform) tomorrow morning.

So I won't be back untill 19th of December, and 21th I will go to hospital with my oldest dauhter for an operation. But I will try to have something done in Christmas holiday if everything goes good with my oldest girl. So maybe I have mananged to tear the inside of my Ampulance apart - and do it ready for some install before I leave for work again early in januar 2008... And you can count on me guys, pics WILL come as things happen..

thanks for the support so far, you guys in here are awesome!!
