are you talking about resistors or caps ??
I was referring to the caps. There seems to be no consistency from amp to amp of the same series which of the small caps get hot and melt the shrink.

I ordered those resistors, (40) input filter caps and small caps of various values yesterday from Mouser and Digikey. I'm going to mount the resistors off the board such as you did to keep them from damaging anything.
14 PG amps from M/MS/ZX/Ti/LE and counting....the addiction continues...

Morning Marko, Yes upgraded wattage devices are AOK here to increase lifespan and the heat will have a larger surface area to be dissipated with higher wattage devices.....and you can mount them further off the board thus reducing the amount of heat the board has to endure...C
great, i thought so, i have 2 ms2250's and the one in my car has larger resistors fitted but the other doesn't and these get too hot to touch! also noticed this in my m100 too...

@Marko, i received yesterday my second ms2250 with shroud and noticed the same in it, just 3W resistors , my other ms2250 has bigger 5W resistors.

were talking here about R345 and R346..... value is 1K5 ohm. So i ordered new resistors and will replace those when i recap the ps caps......

About the m100, i replaced them already in my outlaw.check pics before and after....(value is 160 ohms)
