PG Made Compression Terminals, Right?

I could've sworn I've seen these in old PG literature before. What do you think the chances are of swooping a few of these up? I'm looking for 4ga ring type and am having no luck in my online searching. I'd like to eventually swap out my grounding point to chassis with one of these and have a couple extra for a rainy day.

exactly like that! i'm going to redo my system this summer (not that there's anything wrong with it right now) and would like to reinforce the grounding point and battery terminal point.

I think I have an extra one that I'm not using. It is a 1/0 gauge though.

that is the ground lug made outta square brass stock made in 0 &4 ga..they also made the ring terminals, which are made outta round brass stock and are alot more compact. these boogers are getting really hard to find! I buy them whenever they poop up on fleabay, usually with wire attached...becareful buying used ones as they are mostly stripped which is very easy to do if you dont have patience or are a first timer with them. the wire must be trimmed and folded back onto the fitting part and the wire must not go past the threads of the fitting or is will kick to one side in the block or terminal and strip. they used a fine thread..so they can be a bitch to use untill you get used to them. the best way to assemble is to use a bench vice with a cloth covering them. start them by hand and torque down with a small wrench as they will strip with ease using to much force, then your SOL..monster cable, lighting audio and streetwires made them but PG'S are the best made, fit and finish wise.. knukoncepts makes mini anl distro blocks using compression fittings...but they strip really easy. Ive chucked 2 or 3 back in the days :x ...

i have 1 pg 1/0 gauge (square style ground lug)

you are in for a tough search my friend

knu did make them for a while.

i would try contacting them direct and asking them about the possibility of bringing them back, seeing if they have back stock, or telling you who made them for knu

One of these comes with the PG power wire kits... at least with the 1/0 wire kit, it does.

Man, those things are sexy. I could use a bunch of those ring terminals and a couple grounding blocks all in 4GA. I wonder how much shipping would be to the US? $5,000? :(

Thanks for the how-to as well freshkryp. I'm the kind of idiot that would ruin about 4 of these before finally figuring it out myself...

Maybe I can source around with those part numbers and try to find something. Those Tsunami ones look solid too, but I'm trying to make my next install all PG, save for the head unit. 8)

Can we get those terminals from Denmark....they are cheap as hell for being brand new....can someone who lives there confirm they have them in stock.....I say we buy them out of their inventory....can someone ship a gift ?

they do have them in stock, they also got the zrt 1/0 in stock, BUT they only ship within the European Union as far as i can tell, if you can get 'em to ship to the US it'll be approx. 40$ per Kilo
